Regulations of Al-Isbaah Institute

Presentation of the Institute

Al-Isbaah Institute specializes in teaching the Arabic language, the Qur’an, and its various sciences.
The Institute is not affiliated with any political objective and is not responsible for any activity that goes against the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

Student Conduct

Students must adopt behavior consistent with Islamic morals, appropriate for a student of knowledge, and show respect toward teachers and administrative staff.

In case of a problem, the student must inform the administration so that an appropriate solution can be found.

Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior, including online, may result in a warning or immediate expulsion.

The administration reserves the right to expel a student without prior notice in case of inappropriate behavior.

Registration

To confirm registration, the student must pay the fees corresponding to the level to which they were admitted before the start of classes.

After payment, if the student decides not to study and has not yet started the first class, the following fees will be retained:

  • €10 registration fee
  • €15 for the book
  • Any applicable bank card payment fees

Exchange of Personal Contact Information

The Institute prohibits:

  • Any exchange of personal contact details between students and teachers
  • Any communication outside the framework of the classes

Stopping Classes

If a student wishes to stop classes after a session, they must inform the administration.

Otherwise, classes will continue normally and a new session will automatically begin, even in the absence of payment and even if the student does not attend.

No refund will be issued for a session that has already started, except in exceptional cases (serious illness or force majeure), subject to approval by the administration.

Equipment and Technical Requirements

Each student must ensure their equipment is functioning properly before each class:

  • Microphone and headset properly connected
  • All programs not related to the class closed (Messenger, etc.)
  • Stable internet connection, preferably via cable

The Institute cannot be held responsible for missed classes or learning difficulties due to faulty equipment or an unstable internet connection.

Time Slots

Students choose a time slot from those available on the website (Teachers’ Availability page).
Any change must be requested from the administration.

The Institute may modify a time slot if a teacher stops working or if a prayer time falls within the chosen schedule.

In case of a temporary stop, the time slot is lost and must be selected again upon return.

Attendance and Absences

Late arrivals
Students must be punctual.
A delay of more than 15 minutes results in the class being canceled and counted.
If the teacher is more than 5 minutes late, the student must inform the administration so the time can be compensated.
A delay of 5 minutes or less is not counted.

Absences
Any absence must be reported to the administration at least 24 hours in advance, during office hours.
Students must never inform the teacher directly.
An unjustified absence will be counted as a missed class.
Students may have justified absences equal to their number of weekly classes (example: 2 classes per week = 2 justified absences per month).

Temporary Stop

A prolonged stop (3 days or more) must be reported 7 days in advance.
The student will lose priority on their time slot and teacher.
Remaining days will be kept for 3 months. After this period, they will be permanently lost.

Payment

Payment must be made before the beginning of each session.
A delay of 7 days is tolerated if the administration is informed.

Renewal of Sessions

Sessions are automatically renewed unless the student requests to stop.
Each session is due from the beginning, even if the student is absent from the first class.
In the absence of payment, the session is suspended but remains fully due.
Any student who has not paid for a started session is considered to have a debt toward the Institute.

Family Discount

A 10% discount per person is granted for at least two members of the same family (husband/wife or children) enrolled in the Arabic language program.
The discount is granted upon prior request and applies to future sessions.

Payment is made via PayPal or bank card.

Exams

Exams are mandatory at the end of each session or book.
The teacher must be present.
Minimum score: 60% to move to the next level.
Minimum score: 80% + teacher approval for the diploma.

Change of Teacher

No teacher change during a session.
A request can be made for the following session.
