How do I register?
Registration is done entirely online. You choose your subject (Arabic, Quran or Tajwid), your mode (individual, pair or group), your teacher and your time slots, enter the students' details, then pay for the session directly. The office then validates your slot and you receive confirmation by email, in shaa Allah.
I don't understand how to register, what should I do?
First check the « How it works » page, which details every step of registration. If you still need help, contact us via the contact form: a member of the Al-Isbaah team will reply as soon as possible, in shaa Allah.
When can I register? Is there a start date?
Registration is online at any time of the year — no fixed start date. You can register all year round and begin as soon as your slot is validated.
What level do I need to join the Institute?
No particular level is required: all levels are accepted, from complete beginner to advanced.
How long between registration and the start of lessons?
Since payment is made at registration, the timing mainly depends on the office validating your slot. Once validated, you receive your login details by email and start quickly, in shaa Allah.
What happens after I register?
Once payment is made, the office validates your slot. Your session is then created automatically and you receive by email your login details for your student space, which brings together your schedule, your PDF textbooks and your progress tracking. If you requested an assessment, a level test is also sent to you.
How does the schedule work?
Each teacher has their own timetable. Once you've chosen a teacher, you check their schedule and book your slot (minimum 1h per week, more if you wish, consecutively or separately).
What is the minimum study time per week?
For Arabic, a student can study a minimum of 1h per week; for Quran, a minimum of 2 sessions of 30 minutes per week. They are free to study more beyond that.
Which app are the lessons held on?
Lessons take place in our online classroom, accessible from your student space (“Join” button 15 minutes before the lesson): video, the textbook on screen and a board to write the day's lesson, in your browser, with no software to install.
Can I register as a pair or a group?
Yes. During online registration, you choose individual, pair, or group mode (3 to 8 people). For pairs and groups, all members start at the level of the most beginner. Quran and Tajwid lessons are individual only.
How is payment made?
Payment is made directly during online registration, by bank card (no fees), PayPal (fees paid by the student) or bank transfer (no fees). Once payment is made, the office validates your slot and you receive confirmation by email.
How much does studying at the Institute cost?
Prices vary by programme (Arabic or Quran) and the number of hours per week. See the Pricing page for the full breakdown of the plans.
How does session renewal work?
Sessions are automatically renewed as long as you don't request to stop. At each renewal, each student receives their own payment request — or opts for the monthly subscription, in which case the payment is taken automatically. If you wish to stop, notify the administration.
Do the teachers speak French?
Lessons are held exclusively in Arabic, but our teachers are trained to teach non-Arabic speakers with a programme designed specially for them. As a rule, this poses no problem, in shaa Allah.
Which programme should I choose when registering?
You can choose the Al-Isbaah Institute's general programme, or another programme such as the Medina books, the Muhammad Ibn Saud University programme, Umm Al-Qura, or others.
How do I access the books and audio?
Once registered and your account confirmed, you'll find the textbook to study directly in your student space, available to download as a PDF.
Can one teacher be chosen for two children of different genders?
No. A boy can only study with a male teacher, and a girl only with a female teacher.
Can I study at my own pace?
Yes, you study at your own pace and are free to stop whenever you wish. We do however recommend completing your session.
What if I need help?
Our team cares about your success: send us an email and we will reply as soon as possible, in shaa Allah.
