Our history
The institute's story
Since
2010
Our institute's story begins with two people passionate about the Arabic language, driven by a single goal: to pass on this noble language to non-Arabic-speaking students through a methodology suited to their needs. Having themselves studied Arabic in Egypt, they understood that a non-Arabic-speaking student needs specific, progressive and structured teaching to advance with serenity and efficiency.
And so, in 2010, by Allah's grace, the Al-Isbaah Institute opened its doors in Alexandria, becoming the first institute of its kind in the city. From the very start, the institute stood out for its pedagogical approach centred on understanding, practice and supporting students from different backgrounds.
Over time, in order to make this teaching accessible to as many people as possible around the world, online lessons were introduced. This opening allows thousands of students, wherever they are, to benefit from serious learning of the Arabic language and the Islamic sciences.
By Allah's grace, many students who started from learning the Arabic alphabet have today become teachers, students at the Islamic University of Madinah, or preachers, in turn passing on what they have learned.
This journey continues to grow with the opening of the institute in the blessed city of Madinah in 2026, marking a new stage in the institute's development.
