Terms

Terms of use and sale

The rules governing the use of the platform and the purchase of online lessons from the Al-Isbaah Institute.

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern the use of al-isbaah.com, the institute's online spaces, and the purchase of online lessons. They are accepted at registration, together with the institute's internal rules, which form part of them.

Seller: Al-Isbaah Institute — [legal form, office, registration — to be completed].

2. Services

Online Arabic, Quran and tajwid lessons, one-to-one, in pairs or in groups, taught in the online classroom built into the platform. A cycle (“session”) lasts four weeks, at the weekly rhythm chosen at registration.

3. Registration and account

  • Registration is online; the e-mail address is verified by a code before any payment step.
  • One e-mail address corresponds to one account. Information provided must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • Login details are personal: the student is responsible for their confidentiality.
  • A child is enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who holds a parent account.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are displayed in euros, all taxes included, on the Prices page; they depend on the subject, the format (one-to-one, pair, group) and the weekly hours.
  • Payment is made by card (Stripe), PayPal or bank transfer. The first payment precedes the start of lessons.
  • Each session renews automatically for four weeks unless a stop or pause is requested at least seven days before the end of the current session. The renewal is due on the renewal day; with a subscription it is charged automatically.
  • If the weekly rhythm changes, the next session is invoiced at the price-list rate for the new rhythm.
  • Late payment: reminders are sent from the second day. Without payment 48 hours after the third reminder, the session is suspended automatically, the time slot is released and the amount remains due; no new registration is possible until it is settled.

5. Pause, stop, absences and make-up lessons

  • A pause or a stop is requested from the student space at least seven days in advance; a pause suspends charges.
  • The teacher waits fifteen minutes; after that, the lesson counts as an unjustified absence and remains due.
  • An absence notified within the time limits of the internal rules gives rise to a make-up lesson; a lesson cancelled by the teacher is always made up.
  • Detailed conditions (deadlines, proofs, end-of-session make-up) are in the internal rules.

6. Student obligations

The student undertakes to comply with the internal rules, to have a connection and equipment suitable for the online classroom, and to use teaching materials for personal use only. Exams are taken under the teacher's supervision; any cheating cancels the exam.

7. Liability

The institute uses all means to ensure the quality and continuity of lessons. It cannot be held liable for an inability to attend due to the student's equipment or connection, nor for an interruption attributable to a technical provider or force majeure; in the latter case, lessons not given are rescheduled.

8. Termination

The institute may suspend or terminate an account in case of serious breach of the internal rules or persistent non-payment, after notice. The student may stop at any time by requesting the end of their session under the conditions above; data is then kept according to the privacy policy.

9. Mediation and governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any complaint must first be sent to [email protected]. Failing a solution within a reasonable time, the consumer may refer free of charge to the consumer mediator [name and details — to be completed] or to the European online dispute resolution platform. French courts remain competent.
